Dylan Walker

My name is Dylan Walker and I have more than ten years of experience in the marketing and gaming industry. My career began in advertising agencies where I developed effective promotional strategies for major international brands. Subsequently, I joined the gaming industry, where I found application for my marketing skills and ability to understand the needs and desires of the audience. Today I manage several Internet projects and also consult for large gaming holdings, helping them to improve and develop their products.

Career

It all started with a marketing agency where I was creating advertising campaigns and researching target audiences. A few years later, I accepted an offer to take up a marketing position at a new online casino. I took it as a challenge, as I initially knew nothing about the field. And I made the right choice because marketing turned out to be a key driver in the online casino industry. I realize that I can develop endlessly and constantly improve myself.

In five years I worked my way up from marketer to Chief Marketing Officer, and then became CEO of several successful projects. In these positions, I oversaw the full cycle of product development, from idea to release, including brand ideas, localization strategies, launching international advertising campaigns and developing retention tools. Each new project gave me a unique experience that gave me expertise in brand building and business management.

Skills

Here are a few of the skills I most often use in my work at the moment:

Content Assessment

My content evaluation work is based on the following steps:

Why do you do article reviews?

Content validation is a way to ensure that the information users receive is credible and useful. It’s important to me that my audience trusts the resources I work with.

What’s the most important thing about quality material?

Accuracy, accessibility and relevance to readers’ interests. Good material should answer users’ questions, be informative and easy to read.

What are the most common mistakes authors make?

Common mistakes include using outdated information, complicated or confusing language, and not paying enough attention to the needs of the target audience. My job is to identify these flaws and help correct them.
